The Pyeroy Group’s experience in marine coatings is without equal and is based on longstanding links with all of the major UK ship repair & shipbuilding yards and Royal Naval dockyards. The Company is able to provide a wide range of support services for new build and refit projects including project management, surface preparation, protective coatings, scaffold access & containment, insulation & lagging installation, cleaning and fire sentries.
The Group is a recognised leader in protective coatings work associated with the maintenance and new build of MOD warships and RFA support vessels through to PSVs, LPG Tankers, FPSOs and VLCC vessels.
Specific coatings expertise covers all types of surface preparation and corrosion control applications including solvent/free coatings, glass flake polyester/vinylesters, epoxies, phenolics, zinc silicates, siloxanes and thermal spray coatings.
Pyeroy is MoD approved in the specialist application of naval acoustic and radar stealth materials to ships and submarines.
The Group capability extends to the identification and removal of hazardous substances, as well as conventional cleaning of oil tanks, ballast tanks and boiler tubes.
Specialist tank linings and marine cleaning services have also been established to reduce the risk of explosion, fire and other dangers.
